Sunday Morning - CBS with Charles Osgood
Interesting "Sunday Morning" story segment dramatically emphasized how America globalizes democracy around the world, but ignored globalizing at home for almost two decades.
"In the 80's we knew it as co-production and co-defense that strengthened our industial base." In the 90's Congress called it "sending jobs overseas and cut-off investment opportunities at home by offering dependency to displaced, disheartened workers and communities."
By Fareed Zakaria | NEWSWEEK, gave America 4-5 years to improve it's position through manufacturing and job creation. Governor of NC stated that Federal Government has no clue, but states must deal with loss of industries and need to recreate an industrial community to create production jobs and not just create PhD's that just think about it.
Wow! Really wants you to vote for a member of Congress for President to fix it.
Neither McCain nor Obama have a clue of underlining global threat to America's short term future.
Republicans, especially John Ensign, chairman - National
Republican Senatorial Committee, is despairing over five seats hoping to save a minimum of two or lose filibuster options because they feel they cannot hold onto to five seats to bust the 60 seats needed for a
Senate majority.
Unfortunately, retiring Senate incumbents succumbed to 2006 election abuse and failure to hold resolve over Congress support for Iraq invasion - right or wrong - hindsight is not always good without a recommendation to improve that situation.
Of course honesty surfaces real motivations that could just drop out on your shoe if following to close. Last story on Sunday Morning was about pitching cow chips in Oklahoma.
Deana, pitching winner, exclaimed that "pitching poop got (her) on TV."
Quite a similarity to nineteen months pitching Politics.
