Apology

    I’m Gene Zarwell. I spent a career in the Guard and Reserve.   I was the one who motivated many of your neighbors, friends, and family to serve.

     For that, I apologize. When I did those public service campaigns… I never dreamed our Reserves would be the first to go to War -- and the last to return.  I never dreamed they would be denied proper tools and training when they went to War. I never dreamed they would be denied decent medical care when they returned from War with missing limbs.

     Washington failed our fighting men and women. And, that is one of the reasons I am running for President.
